I used to get stooped when it came to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I found myself purchasing summer items and then only getting to wear them for another month. Then, on the other hand, if I bought all fall items like boots and jackets, I wouldn’t get to wear them until October at best with this Texas weather. So, today’s post is all about buying pieces from the sale that you can wear now and wear later.
My best piece of advice would be to think of how you would style it in the summer and how you would style it in the fall/winter. For example, today I wore the top in today’s post on instagram paired with cutoff denim shorts and white sandals. Then, for fall, I paired it with velvet leggings, some pumps, and a darker clutch as in this post.
Another great question to ask yourself when you’re shopping the sale for “wear now, wear later” clothes is, “can I layer a jacket or cardigan over this?” If you can, grab it and go!
